Pregnant Woman Hit By Hit-And-Run Driver In West Palm Beach
A pregnant woman was killed and a toddler was injured in a hit-and-run crash in West Palm Beach, city police said.
The crash happened along the 3800 block of Pinewood Avenue in the northern part of the city. Authorities say a woman driving a Honda SUV hit a pregnant woman and a toddler, then fled the scene.
Police found the SUV but were still attempting to locate the driver.
The injured woman and toddler were both taken to a hospital.
The SUV involved was a gray or silver Honda Odyssey made between 1999 and 2001, police said. It is missing a front bumper.
Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call the West Palm Beach Police Department 561-822-1900.
Attorney Jason Weisser of Schuler, Halvorson, Weisser, Zoeller and Overbeck responded to distracted driving. “In my many years as a Personal Injury Lawyer I’ve helped many victims that were injured because someone was distracted and crashed into their vehicles. If you’ve been injured by someone because they weren’t paying attention to the road, please call me so I can help you get compensation for your damages.”
