Three People Injured In Florida’s Turnpike Crash Near Boca Raton; Vehicle Hits Wall

Three people were taken to the hospital after a vehicle struck a wall on Florida’s Turnpike near Boca Raton, according to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.

The crash happened in the northbound lanes near mile marker 74, just south of the Glades Road exit. The first arriving crews reported that a vehicle crashed into a wall and had occupants trapped inside, said Capt. Albert Borroto, spokesman for Fire Rescue.

Firefighters used extrication tools to free the occupants. One was taken to a trauma hospital, Borroto said.

The identities of the victims were not released. Investigation is ongoing
