Motorcyclist Injured In Crash Involving Truck
A young motorcyclist was injured in a Palm Beach County crash involving a truck, the Florida Highway Patrol said. The crash took place near W Atlantic Blvd.
Troopers said the crash took place while the driver of the truck, which was heading south on I-95, was trying to turn left at W Atlantic Blvd.
The motorcyclist was riding at a high speed when he hit the truck in the left turning lane, troopers said.
First emergency responders arrived at the site of the crash soon after the accident happened.
The motorcycling was critically injured, according to the Highway Patrol. He was wearing a helmet during the crash, according to the crash report.
The driver of the truck was not injured, troopers said.
FHP said troopers are still investigating the crash.
Attorney Jason Weisser of Schuler, Halvorson, Weisser, Zoeller and Overbeck responded about the crash. “Driving the speed limit on Florida’s Highways isn’t just the law. It may save your life by keeping you from being in an accident. Unfortunately, in our practice, we have seen numerous instances where drivers blatantly violate these regulations, which results in catastrophic consequences.”
