The other driver was taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries, police said.
Officers said the 1300 block of Southwest California Boulevard near Southwest Planation Terrace closed and reopened after some hours.

The names, ages, and other details of the crash were not released.
Attorney Jason Weisser of Schuler, Halvorson, Weisser, Zoeller and Overbeck responded about the crash. “Driving the speed limit on Florida’s Highways isn’t just the law. It may save your life by keeping you from being in an accident. Unfortunately, in our practice, we have seen numerous instances where drivers blatantly violate these regulations, which results in catastrophic consequences.”
