Woman, 46, Dies In Motorcycle Crash At Beeline And Northlake
WEST PALM BEACH – One person has died and another is in critical condition following a crash at Beeline Highway and Northlake Boulevard, West Palm Beach police said.
Authorities say the crash occurred when a dump truck traveling south on Beeline Hwy failed to stop at a red light and struck a motorcycle killing the motorcycle’s passenger and critically injuring the driver.
The deceased motorcycle passenger was identified as a 46-year-old man and the driver was identified as a 25-year-old.
Authorities did not disclose the name of the person driving the dump truck, but did say that person was not injured.
Neither drugs nor alcohol were a factor in the crash and no criminal charges will be filed, police said.
The crash blocked portions of Northlake Boulevard and the Beeline Highway for several hours, but all lanes have reopened, police said.
Attorney Jason Weisser of Schuler, Halvorson, Weisser, Zoeller and Overbeck responded to distracted driving. “In my many years as a Personal Injury Lawyer I’ve helped many victims that were injured because someone was distracted and crashed into their vehicles. If you’ve been injured by someone because they weren’t paying attention to the road, please call me so I can help you get compensation for your damages.”
