Pedestrian Hit By Vehicle Dead In Palm Beach County
A 32-year-old Belle Glade man died after being struck by a vehicle, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office reports.
Authorities identified the man as a resident of Belle Glade. The fatal crash happened shortly after dawn on the 37000 block of State Road 80, east of Hooker Highway.
According to a PBSO crash report, the pedestrian was walking north across the eastbound lane of State Road 80 when he crossed into the path of an oncoming vehicle.
The vehicle hit him and he died at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle, identified as a 39-year-old man of Belle Glade, was not injured.
The PBSO report does not indicate that any charges are pending.
