Truck Accident Causes Traffic Delay On I-95 in West Palm Beach
The crash took place when a man, who was traveling in an SUV on Palm Beach Lakes Blvd, tried to make an illegal U-turn and pulled in front of a southbound semi-truck, police said.
He was not able to stop which caused the crash according to police. Both vehicles sustained heavy damage.
Police said two children were injured in the crash. Both children, who were secured in child seats, were sent to the trauma center at a hospital in West Palm Beach, officials said. No other occupants were injured in the crash.
Officers said the man driving the SUV was cited for failure to yield right of way.
The crash is still being investigated, police said.
