Bicyclist Killed In Weekend Crash In West Palm Beach

WEST PALM BEACH — A 25-year-old bicyclist was killed in a wreck in West Palm Beach, Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office investigators said.

The bicyclist was riding east across Military Trail at Wallis Road north of Southern Boulevard when he reportedly pedaled in front of a 2018 Mercedes-Benz CLA 250 that was heading south on Military.

The West Palm Beach man hit the windshield of the Mercedes that a 21-year-old female of Palm Springs was driving.

The driver, who was wearing a seat belt, sustained minor injuries.

Authorities said the bicyclist “failed to yield the right of way.”
