Texting Driver Flips Car On Side After Colliding With Vehicle In Port St. Lucie
Port St. Lucie, Fla.— The Port St. Lucie Police department is warning drivers not to text and drive after a crash that caused injuries.
Police said the SUV driver admitted to texting before crashing into a parked car along SW Dolores Ave in a neighborhood just south of St. Lucie West and Bayshore Boulevards.
This happened on the 700 Blk of SW Dolores Ave., according to a statement published by the police.
“Thankfully, this time there were no fatal injuries. The driver admitted to texting prior to hitting a parked vehicle. PSLPD would like to take this opportunity and remind everyone to not text and drive,” the statement said.
Attorney Jason Weisser of Schuler, Halvorson, Weisser, Zoeller and Overbeck responded to distracted driving. “In my many years as a Personal Injury Lawyer I’ve helped many victims that were injured because someone was distracted and crashed into their vehicles. If you’ve been injured by someone because they weren’t paying attention to the road, please call me so I can help you get compensation for your damages.”
