Stuart Woman, 1 Other Killed In Palm Beach County Crash
PALM BEACH COUNTY — A 25-year-old Stuart woman and a 23-year-old man from Puerto Rico were killed in an early morning Christmas traffic crash south of West Palm Beach, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash happened on Congress Avenue at Forest Hill Boulevard, west of Interstate 95. The Stuart woman was driving a sedan south on Congress when she drove through a red light at Forest Hill and collided with the other car containing five people ranging in age from 21 to 25 years old, troopers said.
The Stuart driver lost control of her car and it veered off the road and into the property of an oil change business building, according to the report.
A passenger in the other car was killed and three other people in that car suffered serious injuries, FHP said. The three were being treated at St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach.
Attorney Jason Weisser of Schuler, Halvorson, Weisser, Zoeller and Overbeck responded to distracted driving. “In my many years as a Personal Injury Lawyer I’ve helped many victims that were injured because someone was distracted and crashed into their vehicles. If you’ve been injured by someone because they weren’t paying attention to the road, please call me so I can help you get compensation for your damages.”
