Woman Killed In I-95 Crash In Port St. Lucie

ST. LUCIE COUNTY — A 58-year-old Lake Worth Beach woman died after a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 95, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash happened in the southbound lanes about three miles north of Orange Avenue, the FHP stated.

A sport utility vehicle was being driven south by a 36-year-old Lake Worth Beach woman. A 27-year-old woman, also of Lake Worth Beach, was a passenger as was the 58-year-old woman.

“For reasons yet to be determined, the driver lost control of the vehicle and began traveling in a southeasterly direction,” the FHP stated.

The SUV traveled onto the inside shoulder, struck a tree, and overturned.
