Crash With Injuries Closes Part Of I-95 Northbound In Indian River County
INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, Fla. — A car accident near MM 155 in Vero Beach has closed part of I-95 northbound.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the crash involved a single vehicle colliding with a tree.
One female was transported to Lawnwood Medical Center by air as a trauma alert, and one male was transported by ground to Holmes Regional. The left and center lanes of I-95 have since reopened.
However, the right lane remains closed and the rescue crew is still at the scene of the crash.
The investigation is ongoing into the cause of the crash.
