Man, 28, Dies In Motorcycle Crash Near West Palm Beach, PBSO Says
WEST PALM BEACH — A 28-year-old man died in a motorcycle crash west of West Palm Beach, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said.
A man of the Westgate neighborhood in suburban West Palm Beach was driving a Suzuki motorcycle east on Okeechobee Boulevard near Florida’s Turnpike just before dusk when he struck a car turning from Okeechobee onto Citation Drive.
PBSO said he improperly braked and careened into the side of the car, driven by a man, 32, of Riviera Beach.
The motorcyclist died at the scene from his injuries, according to PBSO’s report.
Attorney Jason Weisser of Schuler, Halvorson, Weisser, Zoeller and Overbeck responded to this accident. “It is so important to be aware of motorcyclists on the road because of the severity of their injuries in accidents. There was a public service campaign that encouraged drivers to look left, right and left again just to provide added protection to motorcyclists. If you were injured in an accident and want to discuss your rights, please contact my office for a free consolation”.
