Four Injured In Two-Vehicle Rollover Crash In Belle Glade
BELLE GLADE, Fl. — Four people were hurt, including a toddler, after a crash in Belle Glade, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
A PBSO report said a Subaru was traveling westbound on West Canal Street at a high rate of speed prior to the incident. A 2007 Ford semi was also traveling westbound on W Canal Street in front of the Subaru.
The report said the semi was slowing down to turn left to travel north onto NW 13th Street as the Subaru was attempting to pass another vehicle.
The Subaru attempted to re-enter the westbound lanes behind the semi causing a serious collision.
According to PBSO, both vehicles rolled and left the road.
The driver of the Subaru had critical injuries and a passenger in the truck had serious injuries. A passenger in the semi, a toddler, had minor injuries. All three of these victims were taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center via Trauma Hawk.
The driver of the semi was transported to Lakeside Medical Center with minor injuries.
Attorney Jason Weisser of Schuler, Halvorson, Weisser, Zoeller and Overbeck responded to distracted driving. “In my many years as a Personal Injury Lawyer I’ve helped many victims that were injured because someone was distracted and crashed into their vehicles.
