Two Turnpike Crashes Near Lantana Cause Traffic Delays
LANTANA — Two traffic crashes involving multiple vehicles caused significant delays on Florida’s Turnpike west of Lantana, the Florida Highway Patrol reported.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue said two people were injured in the wrecks near Hypolouxo Road.
According to the report, four cars were involved in three separate crashes that occurred near each other in the northbound lanes near Hypoluxo Road, said Lt. Yanko Reyes, spokesman for FHP.
There were no injuries, said Capt. Albert Borroto, spokesman for Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
The crash temporarily closed all northbound and southbound lanes. After a few hours, just one northbound lane was open while all southbound lanes were open.
Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes for the next few hours.
Attorney Jason Weisser of Schuler, Halvorson, Weisser, Zoeller and Overbeck responded to distracted driving. “In my many years as a Personal Injury Lawyer I’ve helped many victims that were injured because someone was distracted and crashed into their vehicles. If you’ve been injured by someone because they weren’t paying attention to the road, please call me so I can help you get compensation for your damages.”
