Wrong-Way Crash Near NW Baker Road and SE Green River Pkwy Causes Traffic Delay

JENSEN BEACH, Fl. — A crash at the intersection of NW Baker Road and SE Green River Pkwy brought traffic to a standstill, the Martin County Sheriff’s Office said.

The wrong-way drunk driver has been arrested after causing a crash at the intersection.

“An adult male is under arrest for driving under the influence. This happened at dawn after Stuart Police responded to a serious vehicle crash at the Baker Rd. intersection,” the spokeswoman said.

The investigation revealed that a vehicle was traveling west on Baker when the collision occurred. The lanes were closed for approximately an hour as crews worked to clear the wreckage at the intersection.

According to the Stuart Police, no life-threatening serious injuries were reported.

Motorists are being asked to take another route.
