Bicyclist Transported To Hospital After Hit-And-Run Crash In Delray Beach
DELRAY BEACH, Fla. — A bicyclist is recovering after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in Delray Beach.
The incident occurred on Germantown Road near Homewood Boulevard. According to Delray Beach police, the driver of a newer Jeep Grand Cherokee fled the scene. Delray Beach Fire Rescue rushed the bicyclist to a hospital.
Germantown Road was shut down for over an hour due to the incident but has since been reopened. Police say the suspect vehicle is granite gray and has damage to the front end of the driver’s side.
