Traffic Accident Kills One, Shuts Down Congress Ave. At SW 23rd Ave

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. — According to police in Boynton Beach, Congress Avenue is shut down at Southwest 23rd Avenue due to a traffic crash involving two cars.

The accident happened at dusk, killing one person. Four people were taken to local hospitals. Three of them had a trauma alert.

Drivers are being asked to seek alternate routes for the next several hours as investigators process the scene. Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to call 561-732-8116.
