Man Suffers Head Injury In Lake Worth Crash
A 29-year-old man was airlifted to the hospital after suffering a critical head injury in a crash on N Federal Hwy, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The crash happened at the intersection of 13th Avenue N and N Florida Hwy. Troopers said the Lake Worth man was traveling east on the highway near 13th Ave N when another vehicle rear-ended him.
He lost control of the vehicle and it slid off the roadway, according to the crash report.
The vehicle flipped onto a grassy shoulder and the driver was ejected from it, the Florida Highway Patrol said. He was critical and transported to the hospital.
Troopers said the crash is still being investigated.
First emergency responders arrived at the site of the crash soon after the accident happened and the victim was transported to the hospital.
This route is partially closed due to the severity of the crash, causing traffic delays. It is best to take alternate routes.
Attorney Jason Weisser of Schuler, Halvorson, Weisser, Zoeller and Overbeck responded about the crash. “Whenever you are behind the wheel of a car, please make sure you are not being distracted by texting, talking on your phone or communicating with your passengers. If you are in an accident where someone didn’t follow the posted signs or signals, please call me so that we can discuss your rights.”
