Car crashes into home in Pembroke Pines
PEMBROKE PINES, Fla.— A teen is facing charges after crashing a blue Jeep Compass into a home, Pembroke Pines police said.
The accident happened at a home on SW 13th Street around noon, police said. The Jeep was heading north on SW 72nd Avenue when it veered off the road and hit the southwest corner of the house.
Police say one of the residents was thrown from the sofa because of debris from the impact and was taken to the hospital for precautionary measures.
The driver, who was the sole occupant of the Jeep, was not injured and will be charged with traffic-related offenses.
Attorney Jason Weisser of Schuler, Halvorson, Weisser, Zoeller and Overbeck responded to distracted driving. “In my many years as a Personal Injury Lawyer I’ve helped many victims that were injured because someone was distracted and crashed into their vehicles. If you’ve been injured by someone because they weren’t paying attention to the road, please call me so I can help you get compensation for your damages.”
