Bicyclist Killed In Jupiter Crash Identified By Police

JUPITER, Fla. — The Jupiter Police Department has identified the bicyclist recently killed in a crash.

Police say the bicyclist, 30, was pronounced deceased on the scene. Another bicyclist was also injured and was transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center in serious condition.

Police say the two were biking southbound within the crosswalk and were struck by a car traveling westbound on Indiantown Road near N. Loxahatchee Drive at dusk.

Police say the driver of the vehicle was also injured and remained at the scene of the crash during the investigation.

Jupiter Police adds this is an ongoing investigation and more information will be released if it becomes available.
