Two Dead, One Injured In Boynton Beach Car Crash
Two people were confirmed dead when a motorcycle collided with a pickup truck in Boynton Beach, Florida Highway Patrol officials said.
A Boynton Beach Police Department spokeswoman said the crash occurred in the 3500 block of South Federal Hwy.
A motorcycle was traveling south on Federal Highway when the driver of a black Dodge Ram pickup truck heading north on Federal Highway failed to yield and began to make a left turn into the entrance of the Seaborne Cove community, Florida Highway Patrol officials said.
The motorcycle, an orange Honda Repsol, struck the passenger’s side doors of the Dodge, which caused the truck to flip onto the driver’s side.
The 54-year-old truck driver was taken to the Delray Medical Center with non-life- threatening injuries.
The motorcyclist and passenger, identified as a man, 47, and woman, 38, of West Palm Beach both died at the scene.
The Boynton Beach Police Department said it is unclear who was driving the motorcycle and what lead to the crash.
Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to call the Traffic Homicide Investigating Department.
Attorney Jason Weisser of Schuler, Halvorson, Weisser, Zoeller and Overbeck responded to distracted driving. “In my many years as a Personal Injury Lawyer I’ve helped many victims that were injured because someone was distracted and crashed into their vehicles. If you’ve been injured by someone because they weren’t paying attention to the road, please call me so I can help you get compensation for your damages.”
