One Person Critically Injured In Crash Near 6th Ave and I-95
A 24-year-old man was killed in a crash on I-95, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The crash happened at the intersection of 6th Avenue and I-95. Troopers said a Lake Worth man was traveling east on the highway near 6th Ave when he failed to negotiate a curve in his path.
He lost control of the vehicle and it began rotating before it slid off the roadway, according to the crash report.
The vehicle flipped onto a grassy shoulder and he was ejected from it, the Florida Highway Patrol said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers said the crash is still being investigated.
First emergency responders arrived at the site of the crash soon after the accident happened and the victim was transported to the hospital where he was confirmed dead.
This route is partially closed due to the severity of the crash, causing traffic delays. It is best to take alternate routes.
