Two Drivers Wanted For Hit-And-Run In Stuart
STUART, Fla. — Investigators released video of the two vehicles sought in connection to a hit-and-run that killed a woman from Stuart.
The hit-and-run happened in front of the Golden Gate Center for Enrichment along Old Dixie Highway near SE Delmar Street.
The 49-year-old victim has not been identified.
The Florida Highway Patrol said video evidence and witness statements indicate a two-tone colored pickup truck hit the woman first. Then, a second car, a white Toyota Camry, ran over her. Neither driver stopped.
Investigators say the pickup truck should have damage to its right side.
Call Crime Stoppers at 800-273-8477.
Attorney Jason Weisser of Schuler, Halvorson, Weisser, Zoeller and Overbeck responded about the crash. “A Hit-and-run is one of the worst type of accidents. When that person that fled the scene is caught you have rights that are different then in a regular car crash. Make sure you speak to a licensed professional about your rights”.
