Palm Beach Couple Killed In Fiery Crash On Way To Their Wedding
A couple driving to their wedding in Palm Beach Gardens was killed in a fiery crash when a tractor-trailer rammed into them, according to a report.
A 35-year-old woman and her 42-year-old fiancé were driving on Interstate 95 when a semi- trailer hit them from behind pushing them into another tractor-trailer and triggering a chain-reaction crash that set their car ablaze, as reported.
“They were truly the brightest shining lights snuffed out way too soon,” stated a woman who identified herself as the groom’s aunt.
“The bride will be remembered for her voracious appetite for reading, love of cooking and trailblazing new adventures with her fiancé,” the family wrote in her obituary.
She’s survived by her parents, sister and brother-in-law and her 3-month-old nephew.
The crash however is still under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol officials, as they try to uncover if drugs or alcohol had a part to play in the car crash.
Attorney Jason Weisser of Schuler, Halvorson, Weisser, Zoeller and Overbeck responded about the crash. “Cases involving accidents with tractor trailers are always subject to heightened scrutiny because of the additional regulations placed on drivers of those vehicles. Unfortunately, in our practice, we have seen numerous instances where drivers blatantly violate these regulations, which results in catastrophic consequences.”
