Two-Vehicle Car Crash Leaves One Critical, Two Others With Minor Injuries
One person is critical and two others sustained minor injuries following a crash in Sunrise Blvd in Fort Pierce, St. Lucie County.
The crash happened on Sunrise Blvd, according to the Florida Highway Patrol and police authorities.
Police and the Florida Highway Patrol say a grey truck, driven by a 24-year-old Fort Pierce man, was traveling west on Sunrise Blvd when the vehicle veered into the eastbound lanes of traffic at the crest of the US 1 colliding head-on into a black Ram truck, driven by 27-year-old man of St. Lucie County.
The victim was listed in critical condition by paramedics at the scene. His passenger, the driver of the silver truck and a passenger in the silver truck were transported to a local hospital. Their condition were not critical.
There were no other occupants in either vehicle, Florida Highway Patrol officials say.
The Fort Pierce Police Department Traffic Homicide officers are investigating the crash.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the Sunrise Blvd, is back open after it was closed for several hours overnight following a crash.
