Man Wanted For Fatal Hit-And-Run In Lake Worth Beach

LAKE WORTH BEACH, Fla.— The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man in connection to a fatal hit-and-run in Lake Worth Beach.

Deputies said the driver, 30, hit a pedestrian along North C Street. The pedestrian was kneeling in the road to light fireworks at the time of the crash.

Investigators said the driver dragged the victim 188 feet before driving away.

The man died from his injuries. He has not been identified.

Comments:

Attorney Jason Weisser of Schuler, Halvorson, Weisser, Zoeller and Overbeck responded about the crash.  “A Hit-and-run is one of the worst type of accidents.  When that person that fled the scene is caught you have rights that are different then in a regular car crash.  Make sure you speak to a licensed professional about your rights”.
