Motorcyclist Injured In Crash Near Clintmore Road and Lyons Road
A motorcyclist suffered severe injuries after a motorcycle crash near the intersection of Clintmore Road and Lyons Road, Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office stated in a report.
Police were called to the scene of the crash. There they found a 21-year-old rider with serious injuries on the ground.
A man traveling south in a vehicle failed to do a shoulder check and crashed into the motorcycle near the corner of Clintmore Road and Lyons Road, police officials said.
The motorcyclist suffered a head injury and was taken to hospital where he is slowly recovering. The vehicle driver suffered a whiplash injury but is said to be in a stable condition.
The man’s identity has not been made public.
Investigators have since concluded that speed was indeed a factor in this collision.
Authorities temporarily blocked the road while they investigated. Southbound traffic was detoured through alternative routes until after the road is reopened.
Northbound traffic was unaffected.
Attorney Jason Weisser of Schuler, Halvorson, Weisser, Zoeller and Overbeck responded to this accident. “It is so important to be aware of motorcyclists on the road because of the severity of their injuries in accidents. There was a public service campaign that encouraged drivers to look left, right and left again just to provide added protection to motorcyclists. If you were injured in an accident and want to discuss your rights, please contact my office for a free consolation”.
