Delray Beach Police Investigating Crash That Sent Drivers To Hospital
The Delray Beach Police Traffic Homicide Unit is investigating a crash involving two vehicles that sent both drivers to the hospital.
The driver of a Hyundai was traveling north on Congress Avenue and the driver of a Mercedes was driving south while attempting to turn east onto 10th Street when the vehicles collided in the middle of the intersection, police said.
The Mercedes crashed into a concrete pole and the Hyundai’s engine and transmission separated from the vehicle, landing in the middle of the roadway, officials said.
Both drivers are in the hospital with serious injuries, police said. There were no passengers.
Attorney Jason Weisser of Schuler, Halvorson, Weisser, Zoeller and Overbeck responded to distracted driving. “In my many years as a Personal Injury Lawyer I’ve helped many victims that were injured because someone was distracted and crashed into their vehicles. If you’ve been injured by someone because they weren’t paying attention to the road, please call me so I can help you get compensation for your damages.”
