Greenacres-Area Man, 46, Dies Five Days After Forest Hill Boulevard Crash
GREENACRES – A Greenacres-area man died five days after a two-vehicle crash outside a mobile-home park on Forest Hill Boulevard, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said.
The man, 46, sustained his injuries in a crash outside the Casa Del Monte park just east of the Greenacres city limits, according to a PBSO crash report released. It said he lived in the community.
PBSO said he was eastbound on Forest Hill in a 2010 Toyota Yaris just after 11 p.m. and struck a westbound 2012 Dodge Challenger as he turned left onto 16th Place South and into Casa Del Monte.
Both vehicles had entered the intersection on green lights, according to the crash report.
The driver of the Challenger sustained minor injuries. He and the other driver were both taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach for treatment, PBSO said.
PBSO’s crash report did not indicate the speed at which the cars were traveling when they crashed. It also did not indicate that the Dodge driver is facing charges in the wreck.
Attorney Jason Weisser of Schuler, Halvorson, Weisser, Zoeller and Overbeck responded to distracted driving. “In my many years as a Personal Injury Lawyer I’ve helped many victims that were injured because someone was distracted and crashed into their vehicles. If you’ve been injured by someone because they weren’t paying attention to the road, please call me so I can help you get compensation for your damages.”
