Road Delays On I-95 Near West Palm Beach Due To Semi-truck Crash
A crash involving two vehicles in West Palm Beach has left two people hospitalized.
The crash has also caused traffic to back up in West Palm Beach, the West Palm Police Department said.
The crash took place when a man who was driving southbound on I-95 tried to make an illegal U-turn and pulled in front of a northbound SUV, police said.
The driver of the SUV was not able to stop leading to a crash according to police. Both vehicles suffered heavy damage. Police said a man and woman were injured in the crash.
Both were sent to the trauma center at a hospital in West Palm Beach, officials said. No other occupants were injured in the crash, police said.
Officers said the Toyota driver was cited for failure to yield right of way.
The crash is still being investigated, police said.
This route is partially blocked due to the severity of the crash causing traffic delays.
