Troopers Hurt In Collision On Florida Turnpike In Palm Beach Gardens
PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla.— All northbound lanes of the Florida Turnpike were temporarily blocked at PGA Boulevard in Palm Beach Gardens after a crash involving a truck and two FHP patrol cars.
The Florida Highway Patrol says a truck hauling cars lost control and hit two patrol cars with a K-9 at a traffic stop.
The crash happened just before mile marker 113. Traffic was backed up to mile marker 111.
The northbound ramp to PGA Boulevard was also shut down.
Authorities say the troopers and the driver of the car suffered serious but non life-threatening injuries.
Attorney Jason Weisser of Schuler, Halvorson, Weisser, Zoeller and Overbeck responded to distracted driving. “In my many years as a Personal Injury Lawyer I’ve helped many victims that were injured because someone was distracted and crashed into their vehicles. If you’ve been injured by someone because they weren’t paying attention to the road, please call me so I can help you get compensation for your damages.”
