Car Crash Along Congress Ave. Palm Beach Lakes Blvd, And N. Australian Ave Left Six People Injured

The West Palm Beach crash occurred when a 2014 white Kia Fort, driven by a 35-year-old man of Port St. Lucie, was seen traveling west on the Palm Beach Lakes Blvd and attempted to make a left turn onto Congress Ave.

A 54-year-old man of Port St. Lucie and his 6-year-old niece were passengers in the Kia .

Another 20-year-old man was driving east on the N. Australian Ave. when his 2010 white Mazda’s front bumper collided with the right side of the Kia, according to the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office.

The traffic lights on N. Australian Ave. and Congress Ave. were all green, PBSO reported.

Both vehicles lost control and crashed into an electrical box and concrete light pole at the southeast corner of the N. Australian Ave.

The Kia caught on fire and the passengers were pulled from the vehicle by a witness, the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office added.

The 35-year-old Kia driver, the 54-year-old and 6-year-old passengers, and the 20-year old Mazda driver were all transported to a local hospital.
