Car Crash At The Intersection Of Jog Rd and 10th Ave N Critically Injured One Person

A driver who saw a motorcyclist heading the wrong way and heading toward him tried to avoid a collision but couldn’t, according to the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office.

The crash happened along the intersection of Jog Rd and 10th Ave N, according to the official report.

According to PBSO officials, a 32-year-old man of Martin County was riding a black 2014 Kawasaki motorcycle southbound in the northbound lanes of Wellington Trace. A 24-year-old of Pembroke Pines driving a Toyota Corolla, heading north, tried to maneuver out of the way but the two collided head-on.

The 32-year-old was rushed to a local hospital said PBSO officials. The 24-year old was not hurt.

The investigation is continuing and no reason has been yet provided as to why the motorcycle was going in the wrong direction.

According to the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office, they were no other victims involved in the  incident.

Deputies ask anyone with relevant information to contact the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office or the Florida Highway Patrol.
