Car Crash On Interstate 95 Left Two People In Critical Condition
A Broward County man has been injured after losing control of his car and veering off on Interstate 95 in Boca Raton, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
A 32-year-old driver was driving north in a 2012 Jaguar XF on I-95 south of Indiantown Road. Records indicate the driver was from Old Forge, Pa.
Florida Highway Patrol authorities said, he lost control and the left side of his car smashed into the right side of the 2016 Chrysler 200 that a 44-year-old of Port St. Lucie was driving.
The Jaguar rolled several times before going onto the grass on the right shoulder of the interstate, according to authorities.
The 32-year old driver was unconscious at the scene. The Florida Highway officials said he wasn’t wearing a seat belt.
The 44-year-old driver was wearing one. She was taken to Jupiter Medical Center with minor injuries.
The Florida Highway Patrol officials and Palm Beach Sheriff Office are investigating whether alcohol or drug was a factor in the crash.
