Collision with oil spill blocks US-441 in Boca Raton

BOCA RATON, FL – A multi-vehicle crash and subsequent fuel spill blocked FL-441 in Boca Raton on Tuesday morning.

According to Boca News Now, the crash occurred at about 7:30 a.m. near the intersection with Spanish Isles Boulevard.

Officers say two passenger vehicles and a tractor-trailer were involved in the crash. The tractor-trailer lost about 30 gallons of oil as a result.

Fortunately, no serious injuries were sustained in the wreck. However, the Florida Department of Environmental Management was called in to clean up the spill.
