Crash in Lauderhill leaves one dead, another injured

LAUDERHILL, FL – One person was killed and another was injured after a crash in Lauderhill on Monday afternoon, NBC Miami reports. 

The accident occurred on the 3800 block of West Sunrise Boulevard around 2 p.m. An eastbound driver lost control of their vehicle, jumped the median and struck a westbound vehicle.

One victim was killed at the scene. Another was rushed to a local hospital and further information about their condition has not been releashed.

The cause of the crash is not clear at this time.
