Crash in North Miami Beach leaves one injured

NORTH MIAMI BEACH, FL – One person was hospitalized following a traffic crash in North Miami Beach on Saturday, Local 10 News reports. 

The crash occurred shortly before 11 p.m. at the intersection of Northeast 167th Street and Second Avenue.

For reasons that are not clear at this time, a red car and a truck collided in the intersection, sending the red car crashing to the side of the road and spreading debris across several traffic lanes.

One person was injured and taken to a local hospital. No other injuries have been reported. Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
