Crash leaves two dead in Miami

MIAMI, FL – A violent single-vehicle accident killed two people and left three others injured in Miami on Sunday, NBC Miami reports. 

The accident occurred at the intersection of 48th Avenue and West Flagler Street around 3 a.m.

The events leading up to the crash are not clear at this time. A driver lost control of a red Kia Forte and crashed into a light post.

Two occupants were ejected on impact and died at the scene. All three remaining passengers were rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center. Two are currently in critical condition while the third is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
