Delray Beach accident leaves 96-year-old woman dead

DELRAY BEACH, FL – A 96-year-old woman was killed in an accident in Delray Beach on Tuesday evening, CBS 12 reports. 

The crash occurred around 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of Jog Road and Normandy Lane.

The victim was travelling with her husband, a 99-year-old man, when they were struck by another vehicle in the intersection.

Both of them, along with the driver of the other vehicle, were injured and taken to the hospital. The victim then passed away at the hospital.

No further information is available on the cause of the crash.
