INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FL – A 33-year-old is in custody after attempting to ram police vehicles and leading officers on a chase through Brevard and Indian River Counties, WPTV reports.

Police initially attempted to pull the suspect over in Brevard County but, rather than comply, he repeatedly attempted to ram the police vehicle before fleeing the scene.

Officers pursued the suspect into Indian River County, where his vehicle left the road on the 2100 block of 87th Avenue and rolled over. He then attempted to flee on foot before being arrested.

He is being held on a variety of charges.
