Driver Killed When BMW Strikes Bull On Interstate 95
Troopers and the Florida Highway Patrol officials investigating how the crash unfolded after an initial collision
A Canadian man has died after his BMW struck a bull on Interstate 95 in Palm Beach County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The BMW driven by a 68-year-old man of Ontario was heading north on Interstate 95 near Okeechobee Blvd when it hit a bull in the outside lane, troopers and the Florida Highway Patrol officials said.
Six other vehicles were involved in the crash following the initial collision, but troopers and the Florida Highway Patrol officials continue to piece together the sequence of events.
He died of his injuries, according to the crash report and the Florida Highway.
A female passenger with the same last name was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Three other people in some of the other vehicles were all airlifted to a local hospital in the county.
Troopers and the Florida Highway Patrol said the rest of the people involved in the crash had minor injuries.
Anyone with additional information concerning what may have caused the car crash is asked to contact the Florida Highway Patrol Department or any other relevant investigating official.
