Driver Lost Control On I-95, Crashed On Village Boulevard In West Palm
A driver involved in a three-vehicle crash is currently facing charges of driving without a license and careless driving, said the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash closed down the road during the rush hour. One person was rushed to the hospital as a precaution, said FHP.
Authorities said that a Ford Explorer was driving southbound on Interstate 95 and had lost control of his vehicle. The car had crashed through a chain-link fence into an apartment complex and struck a Toyota RAV4 head-on.
The crash then pushed the Toyota into a Mercedes in another lane, according to the authorities. The Explorer then struck the Mercedes.
The West Palm Beach Fire Rescue had taken the RAV4’s driver, a 65-year-old man, to a nearby hospital with serious injuries, said FHP. The Explorer driver had told police he had not been drinking, eating or using a phone, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident is still under investigation. Charges are pending for the Explorer driver for driving without a license.
