Driver Survives Fiery Car Crash in West Palm Beach

WEST PALM BEACH, FL – A driver walked away from a fiery car crash with only minor injuries after colliding with a light pole on Flagler Drive near Eighth Street.

According to KTVH, the accident happened on Oct. 27 just before 2 a.m. A surveillance camera caught the crash on video. It shows a car speeding down Flagler Drive and crashing into a light pole, then catching fire.

The name of the driver has not been released. Several police cars were parked along Flagler Drive when the crash happened, and officers pulled the driver out of the burning car.

It is not clear why the officers were parked there.

No one else was injured in the crash.
