DUI suspect arrested after fiery North Lauderdale crash

NORTH LAUDERDALE, FL – A 37-year-old man was arrested for DUI after causing a accident that hospitalized a woman in North Lauderdale.

According to Local 10 News, the accident occurred along the 1100 block of South State Road 7 at 5 a.m. on Saturday morning.

Two cars collided and burst into flames. Both drivers were able to remove themselves from their vehicles before emergency responders arrived.

The 37-year-old man behind the wheel of one of the vehicles was arrested for DUI. The woman driving the other vehicle was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.
