Early-morning crash causes lane closures, traffic delays in Pembroke Pines

PEMBROKE PINES, FL – A collision early this morning on University Drive led to lane closures and traffic delays in Pembroke Pines, according to the Pembroke Pines Police Department.

The collision happened on southbound University Dr near Taft Street at around 4:40 a.m.

All southbound lanes were expected to be closed for a lengthy period of time. Drivers were told to plan an alternate travel route to avoid delays.

Details about the cause of the crash or possible injuries were not immediately available.
