FHP officer hospitalized after I-95 crash in Fort Lauderdale

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – A Florida Highway Patrol officer and another driver were hospitalized after a crash in I-95 on Thursday, NBC Miami reports. 

The accident occurred in the northbound lanes of I-95 near State Road 84 around 5 a.m.

The officer’s patrol car collided with a white Tesla and both drivers sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

At this time, the cause of the crash is not clear. Police are continuing to investigate.
