Four Dead, Five Critical After Car Crash In Palm Beach County

Two Palm Beach County teens were killed when their car veered into oncoming traffic and struck a SUV, cops said.

Five other people were seriously hurt in the smashup in Boca Raton in Palm Beach County.

Three of the teenagers, two boys and a girl, died at the scene. The fourth, the young man who was driving, also died at a local hospital.

A fourth teen in the car was in critical condition at Delray Medical Center. All of the teenagers attended the same high school.

The SUV’s driver, a 33-year-old man and his five female passengers in the SUV, were in serious condition.

One of the fatally injured teens was identified by his heart­broken mom.

“The family is grieving right now,” the mother said.

The surviving teen was identified by friends and a relative.

“We have no idea what’s happened yet,” the surviving teen father, told The Post. “He’s a good kid.”

The actual cause of the crash is still under investigation according to a Florida Highway Patrol sergeant. “We are not certain if alcohol or drugs had a part to play” he added

Anyone with information as to what had caused the crash should contact the Florida Highway Patrol.
