Girl hospitalized after being struck by car at Pembroke Pines mall

PEMBROKE PINES, FL – A girl was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle outside of Pembroke Lakes Mall.

According to local news reports, the chaos began when a group of teenagers started fighting in a movie theater. This led to a false report of a shooting that caused people to flee in panic.

The vicitm, a teenage girl, triped in the parking lot, and fell in the path of a 2014 Infiniti.

The 19-year-old man driving the Infiniti did not see her in the road and dragged her for a fell feet before stopping.

The driver remained at the scene and cooporated with police.
