Golf cart driver dead after getting struck by hit-and-run driver in Riviera Beach

RIVIERA BEACH, FL – A hit-and-run crash on the Blue Heron Bridge in Riviera Beach claimed the life of a golf cart driver Tuesday. 

The collision happened around 1:30 am, according to WPTV. It is unclear what caused a car to hit the golf cart driver. 

The driver failed to render aid to the victim and immediately fled the scene. 

Police identified the golf cart driver as Troy Lowry.
